This is another opportunity to read again the prayers offered to God on our behalf by Pauline Clayden at out FYT Zoom Service. The prayers followed Readings on the Transfiguration of Christ and a reflection by David Griffiths.

The prayers focus on being open to the Holy Spirit, the problems associated with the Corona virus pandemic, our West Wight Youth and our local community, the elderly, sick and bereaved and finally for ourselves and the leading of the Holy Spirit.

Please feel free to use these prayers in their current form, to adapt them as you prefer, or to use them to frame your own prayers.

Intercessions for FYT Zoom Morning Prayer – Sunday Next before Lent – 14th Feb. 2021

Lord Jesus, today we reflect upon the occasion in which you revealed yourself in your glory to your disciples.

May we always try to be faithful disciples & willing to be led by the Holy Spirit to make us the people that you would like us to be.
